Cincinnati, OH – O. R. Colan Associates, LLC, (ORC), one of the nation’s premier firms specializing in land acquisition, relocation, and program management for infrastructure projects, is pleased to announce the hiring of Mark Chovan, as the newest Project Manager.
In this role, Mr. Chovan will work closely with Tracy Jones, Divisional Director, on business development, client retention, and regional growth. Additionally, Mr. Chovan will supervise, coordinate, manage team activities & operations for projects sponsored by a diversity of clients in the Midwest, specifically Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. Mr. Chovan will continue utilizing his field expertise working with property owners to ensure project success”.
Mark has over 33 years of real estate experience, with more than 28 years dedicated to the right-of-way industry. Mr. Chovan has been a Project Manager and Realty Specialist in property acquisition and relocation advisory services for a host of public and private clients. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesman and Appraiser in the State of Ohio, and a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Michigan. Mr. Chovan is pre-qualified by the Ohio Department of Transportation in project management, negotiations, relocation assistance, relocation review, value analysis reports and titles and closings. Mark is also pre-qualified in Michigan for project management, negotiations and relocation. His professional accomplishments include the coordination and management for two large airport acquisition and relocation projects, as well as hundreds of roadway projects in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana, both as a project manager and property agent.

Mr. Chovan is a member of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) with the Michigan Chapter 7 and Ohio Buckeye Chapter 13. Mr. Chovan was a part of the IRWA Chapter 7 Relocation Committee, and the Ohio Buckeye Chapter 13 Past Secretary & First Vice President. Mark is also a State of Ohio and Michigan Notary, a licensed Michigan Real Estate Broker, and TMACOG TIP Committee Member at Large.
