Scott Depot, WV – O. R. Colan Associates, LLC, (ORC), one of the nation’s oldest firms specializing in land acquisition, relocation, and program management for infrastructure projects, is excited to announce the opening of a new office at 135 Corporate Center Drive, Suite 541, Scott Depot, WV 25560. The office expansion allows ORC to better serve the right-of-way needs for public construction throughout the state of West Virginia. ORC is continuing to maintain its six person Utilities & Infrastructure operations, also located at 135 Corporate Center Drive, in Suite 520.

This new office is headed by Project Manager Sam Cook. Mr. Cook recently retired after more than 31 years with the State of West Virginia, including two stints with the Division of Highways in property acquisition. The office staff also includes agents Gary Scott, Dennis “Brad” Pauley, Chase Fischer, and Jason Marino.

Gary is one of ORC’s longest serving employees and specializes in railroads and utilities. He retired from the West Virginia Division of Highways and has been active in all phases of acquisition work, specializing in the preparation of right-of-way maps and plans, negotiations, relocations, and property descriptions. Brad has experience working in various areas of the Marcellus Shale region of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. He has experience examining and evaluating land records and has worked on many highway projects. Chase previously worked in property acquisition and leasing for the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources. He managed that division’s real estate and its leasing for oil and gas extraction. Lastly, Jason was with the West Virginia Division of Highways, specializing in relocation activities. He worked in property management for the Division and has experience with asbestos issues.

This office stands ready to serve clients in acquisition of property for infrastructure projects throughout the state.
