ORC Welcomes New Project Manager

Detroit, MI –  O. R. Colan Associates, LLC (ORC), one of the nation’s oldest firms specializing in land acquisition, relocation and program management for infrastructure projects, is pleased to announce Michael Odette, SR/WA has joined the team as a new Project Manager. Mr. Odette will lead ORC’s project initiatives in the state of Michigan, and he will work closely with Regional Vice President Tracy Jones to strengthen our existing relationships within the state.

Mr. Odette is a professional real estate broker, appraiser, developer, and project manager. He joins ORC after 18 years with the Michigan Department of Transportation, where he was highly active as a Senior Property Analyst in the appraisal, acquisition, management and right of way plan review for MDOT highway improvement projects. While at MDOT, he was recognized with MDOT’s highest award, the MDOT Director’s Award, in 2006, and he assisted MDOT’s development and training goals by earning status as a Signature Certified “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” facilitator for the Franklin Covey system.

As a certified project manager, Mr. Odette earned his Master’s certificate in Project Management (GWCPM) from George Washington University in 2007, as well as his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University in 1976. “Having such an experienced and credentialed project manager to lead our efforts in Michigan will give our team – and our clients – a tremendous competitive advantage,” says Jones. “Michael is a top level professional, and he is committed to delivering a ‘customer first’ attitude to all of our Michigan clients.
