Celebrating Excellence in the Right of Way Industry
ORC proudly announces that Alyssia Padilla, SR/WA-GN, Divisional Director of the Public Sector, has been honored with the International Right of Way Association’s (IRWA) 2023 Young Professional of the Year Award. This prestigious award was presented during the 70th Annual IRWA International Education Conference in Long Beach, CA.
Alyssia Padilla’s recognition by the IRWA highlights her exceptional leadership, innovative approaches, and unwavering commitment to the right of way industry. With a rich background spanning the electrical utility and transportation sectors, Alyssia has consistently demonstrated excellence in managing complex projects and driving business development initiatives.
Alyssia, who joined ORC in July 2023, has played a pivotal role in the company’s expansion and success. She notably contributed to the opening of ORC’s newest office in Fort Worth, TX, in June. Her work has had a significant impact on projects across Texas, Oklahoma, and Utah, and her influence is set to grow as she continues to explore and contribute to projects in other regions.
Reflecting on her award, Alyssia stated, “I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from IRWA. This award is a testament to the incredible team at ORC and the support I’ve received from my colleagues and mentors. I am passionate about continuing to push the boundaries of what we can achieve in the right of way industry and am excited for the future.”
Alyssia is the youngest IRWA Peak Instructor and an active member of IRWA Chapter 6 (Region 9) and Chapter 36 (Region 2). Her award highlights the importance of education, ethics, and encouragement in the professional development of young industry professionals.
