ORC’s 9th Annual Client Appreciation Golf Outing: A Day of Partnership and Purpose

A Day on Us: Celebrating Our Clients & Partners

On Friday, September 4, ORC welcomed more than 100 clients, partners, sponsors, and team members to Safari Golf Club in Powell, Ohio, for our 9th Annual Client Appreciation Golf Outing.

Each year, the outing gives us an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and spend time with the people and organizations who help make our work possible. This year brought something new: rain.

For the first time in the event’s history, the weather required us to pivot portions of the day. But a little rain didn’t stop the group from making the most of it. With plenty of flexibility, good conversation, friendly competition, and a few adjustments along the way, the outing remained what it has always been about – celebrating relationships and enjoying time together.

Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed time on the course, interactive hole games, and a full lineup of prizes, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to have some fun regardless of what the weather had in store.

Golfing for a Greater Purpose

Giving back was also part of this year’s outing. We were pleased to welcome Shawn Gilbert from Habitat for Humanity–MidOhio, who joined us to share more about the organization and the impact of its work in our community.

Golfers helped support the cause through mulligans and several interactive hole games, including Wheel of Fortune, Axe Throwing, and Bucket Golf. These activities added some friendly competition to the course while giving attendees another way to support the cause.
