ORC is pleased to announce the addition of Chérie Pierce, SR/WA, as Divisional Director within the Public Sector. Based in Florida, Chérie will lead initiatives across the East Coast, further strengthening ORC’s ability to support public agencies with strategic right-of-way and land services.

As ORC continues to expand its public sector footprint, Chérie will play a key role in advancing project execution, supporting client partnerships, and driving growth across key markets throughout the eastern United States.

About Chérie Pierce
Chérie Pierce has more than 25 years of experience in right-of-way acquisition, land services, and infrastructure project delivery. Throughout her career, she has led complex acquisition efforts across utilities, power transmission, transportation, and renewable energy projects, supporting programs from early site selection and due diligence through permitting and construction.
She has extensive experience managing land acquisition teams and overseeing vendor networks, including appraisal, title, and survey partners, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Chérie is known for her ability to navigate complex negotiations, secure property rights, and build strong relationships with landowners, stakeholders, and public agencies.
Prior to joining ORC, Chérie held senior leadership roles supporting large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy projects, where she led contract negotiations, directed due diligence and risk mitigation efforts, and coordinated closely with legal, environmental, and engineering teams to advance project development. She has also played a key role in mentoring teams, supporting public meetings and stakeholder engagement efforts, and driving successful project outcomes from planning through execution.
Chérie holds the SR/WA professional designation through IRWA and is recognized as a subject matter expert in eminent domain, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
