Leadership Realignment Strengthens Commitment to Utilities and Public Infrastructure

ORC, an industry leader in right of way and land acquisition services, announced today a strategic realignment of its leadership team, including the promotion of three internal leaders to Vice President positions. These appointments underscore ORC’s commitment to growing internal talent and enhancing its capability to meet evolving client needs in the Public and Utilities sectors.

Kyle Harmicar, Brent Kurtz, and AJ Orrick have each been promoted to the position Vice President. Harmicar, Kurtz and Orrick will continue to oversee critical infrastructure projects nationwide, directly reporting to Kale Suedkamp, Executive Vice President.

AJ Orrick joined ORC in 2023, bringing over 17 years of extensive experience in right of way management and infrastructure projects. His expertise includes project management, stakeholder engagement, land acquisition, regulatory compliance, and legal services, specifically tailored for public infrastructure initiatives. Orrick has successfully led multidisciplinary teams on major EPC projects across the U.S.

Brent Kurtz, who joined ORC in 2018, has extensive experience managing complex projects in real estate, title research, and infrastructure. Previously a leader within the Indiana Department of Transportation, Kurtz has managed multimillion-dollar electric transmission and renewable solar projects, consistently delivering on-time and within budget.

Kyle Harmicar, who has been with ORC since August 2021, has over a decade of experience in project management within the energy and telecommunications sectors. Harmicar’s expertise includes comprehensive management across multiple project phases, involving electric transmission, distribution, renewables, gas, and telecommunications.

“As ORC continues to grow and prepare for the future amidst increasingly complex infrastructure challenges, the promotion of these leaders positions ORC to better serve our clients through focused expertise and operational excellence,” said Richie McNally, COO of ORC. “Their demonstrated leadership, proven project success, and commitment to innovation make them ideal for guiding ORC’s strategic initiatives into the future. These promotions also reflect ORC’s ongoing investment in our team members, reinforcing our dedication to internal growth and professional development.”
