In early 2016, Duke/Piedmont Natural Gas (PNG) awarded ORC a master services contract for turnkey land acquisition services throughout their Mid-Atlantic service area. The ORC team has accepted several projects since then, including the following:

Line 379 Replacement Project, Spartanburg County, SC
Replacement, rerouting of 5.4 miles of 6” and 10” natural gas pipe; ORC managed survey, title, and acquisition services for 40 parcels.

Line 201 Replacement Project, Spartanburg County, SC
Replacement, rerouting of 2 miles of 12” natural gas pipe; ORC managed survey, title, and acquisition services for 6 parcels.

Helms Port Subdivision Project, New Hanover County, NC
Curative project to acquire rights of way in a subdivision where distribution pipeline was installed outside of the established utility easement; 50 parcels impacted. ORC worked with the developer, operations, and landowners to mitigate the error through acquiring new easements widening the existing utility easements.

Brunswick Forest Regulator Station, Brunswick County, NC
ORC provided survey and title support to help establish a permanent regulator site.

Pine Hall Regulator Station, Stokes County, NC
ORC provided survey, title, and acquisition services to establish a permanent regulator site; project involved multiple owners and coordination with utilities and DOT to ensure compliance.

Line 29 Replacement Project, Stanly County, NC
Replacement of 5 miles of 6” natural gas pipeline; ORC managed survey and acquisition for 63 parcels.

Line 1051 South Replacement Project, Stanly County, NC
Replacement of 7 miles of 2” to 8” natural gas pipeline; ORC managed survey and acquisition for 173 parcels.

Line 1051 North Replacement Project, Stanly County, NC
Replacement of 3 miles of 2” to 8” natural gas pipeline; ORC managed survey and acquisition for 20 parcels.

Line 216 HDD Replacement Project, Stanly County, NC
Replacement of pipeline crossing; ORC managed survey and acquisition for 5 parcels.

Fayetteville Replacement Projects, Fayetteville, NC
Replacement of multiple lines in the service area; ORC managed acquisition support for 30 parcels involving pipelines of various diameters.
